Do I need to be a SITC member to join a SIG?

Yes, it is a requirement that you must be an active member of SITC in order to join a SIG. Click here to join or renew your membership.

Can I propose a new SIG?

Yes! Any SITC member may propose a new SIG that is appropriate, clearly aligned with SITC’s mission and purpose, and sufficiently distinct from existing SIGs. To initiate the process, interested individuals must submit a new SIG application. 

What do SIG activities include?

• Communicating with other SIG members about publications, research, updates in clinical trials, regulation, etc. related to SIG’s interest 

• Developing and hosting independent webinars for SIG members and/or other virtual meetings 

• Contributing to SITC’s monthly Immune Monitor newsletter

• Collaborating on published manuscripts or other written or edited publications

• Meeting in person at the SITC Annual Meeting

What are the requirements of a SIG?

• Made up of at least 10 members

• Aligns with SITC's mission and purpose

• Prepared to create an annual report detailing the SIG's yearly accomplishments and findings
