Bio

The goal of my current research is to explore strategies for treating ovarian cancer with adoptive T cell therapy. Specifically, we plan to utilize murine models of ovarian cancer to explore the migration and function of genetically engineered T cells in solid tumors, and to then translate the derived insights into treatment protocols for patients with ovarian cancer.

Volunteer Bio

I am currently an Assistant Professor at the University of Virginia. I have extensive experience in murine models of cancer, T cell biology, T cell engineering, pre-clinical adoptive T cell immunotherapy, and translational immunobiology. I am also a cancer survivor, which has given me a unique and valuable perspective on tumor immunotherapy research.
